This section features my abstract images merged with photographs I capture while traveling. I first began experimenting with this technique several years ago by combining my photograph of a Studebaker truck from my dad’s childhood with a second photograph of rusted steel washed up on the shores of Driftwood Beach, which I used as a “pattern” to simulate rust on the truck. Other abstract “patterns“ I have developed originated from walls, lath, floor joists and other structural aspects found while exploring old buildings.
Lisa Faire’s photographs are available to purchase as photographic paper prints or exhibit-ready mounted metal prints in various sizes. To order or request more information, please send request on the Contact Page.
