This section features my abstract images merged with photographs I capture while traveling. I first began experimenting with this technique several years ago by combining my photograph of a Studebaker truck from my dad’s childhood with a photograph of rusted steel washed up on the shores of Driftwood Beach, which I used as a “pattern” to simulate rust on the truck. Some of my “patterns” have origins from walls, lath, floor joists and other structural aspects found while exploring old buildings.
Lisa Faire’s photographs are available to purchase as photographic paper prints or exhibit-ready mounted metal prints in various sizes. To order or request more information, please send request on the Contact Page.
