Lisa Faire is honored to have her award-winning art photography images selected for exhibitions in galleries, municipal buildings, prestigious art shows, and the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, as well as featured in various publications.
As a teenager growing up in Central Florida, her interest in photography was sparked by a childhood friend who loaned her a camera and provided lessons.
An avid interest in history and trends inspires her photography of classic cars/trucks, vintage objects and old structures. Her artistic eye was honed by a 20-year career in the manufacturing industry, enabling her to identify unique automotive and architectural design characteristics which can still be glimpsed despite the ravages of time, nature and the elements. Employing creative photo-editing techniques and painterly effects, she reimagines these subjects into new pictorial narratives.
Capturing God's mighty hand at work in nature is one of her greatest joys, and she loves pairing Bible verses with her images. Her work also includes experimenting with ice photography, intentional camera movement (ICM) and abstracts.
As a writer, she co-authored the history book, Clermont: From Gem of the Hills to Choice of Champions, (2019). A sampling of her writing projects include:
